Although discipleship is a lifelong process, getting on the road is as simple as A-B-C. Admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior. Believe that Jesus Christ -- the only begotten Son of God -- died for your sins and that He defeated death, hell and the grave when God resurrected Him from the grave. Confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, as you believe it in your heart and you shall be saved. In so doing, you accept God's gift of amazing grace. But that's really only the beginning. A disciple must connect to a church and grow in faith, Word, knowledge, service and understanding. For faith without works is dead.
